Eligibility

B.Arch Admission Eligibility 2026-27

The eligibility criteria for admission to the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program for the academic year 2026–27 are governed by the Council of Architecture (CoA) under the Minimum Standards of Architectural Education Regulations, 2020. Candidates must also qualify in an aptitude test such as NATA 2026 or equivalent as prescribed.

  1. 10+2 or Equivalent Qualification: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 examination (or equivalent) conducted by a recognized board.
  2. Required Subjects: Candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with at least one of the following: Chemistry / Biology / Technical Vocational Subject / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies.
  3. Minimum Marks Requirement: Candidates must secure a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination. Alternatively, candidates with a 10+3 Diploma (any stream) with Mathematics as a compulsory subject must also have secured at least 45% aggregate marks.
  4. Diploma & International Qualifications: Candidates who have completed a 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics or an equivalent international qualification (such as International Baccalaureate) with Mathematics as a compulsory subject are also eligible, subject to meeting the minimum marks criteria.
  5. NATA / Aptitude Test Requirement: Candidates must qualify in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA 2026) or any other aptitude test recognized by the Council of Architecture.

    Note: As per NATA 2026 guidelines, no fixed minimum qualifying marks are prescribed. The final scorecard (raw score or percentile) will be considered during the admission process.
